Yoga philosophy is such a huge and diverse subject, with many strands to it. We feel it is important, as a practitioner of yoga, which is so much more than just postural yoga (yoga asana), to have at least some foundational understanding of where these practices come from.
In this section of our resources library, our aim is to share a little of the history and philosophy of yoga practices, starting with the yoga sutras of Patanjali.
We will be adding to this library each month and are very lucky and grateful for the contributions from our friends and teachers, each of whom has spent many years studying different traditions and lineages.
Their experience, knowledge and insight is as diverse as is the subject and we hope that it fires your curiosity to learn and understand a little more about the practice of yoga as a philosophy for life.
